The Pre Primary Prayer Bag Initiative

The Pre-Primary ‘Prayer Bag’ initiative serves to foster faith development and celebrate diversity within the Early Years at St Andrew’s Catholic Primary School. Each child is offered the opportunity to take home the class ‘Prayer Bag’ throughout the year. This bag contains various Catholic symbols, enabling children to establish a prayer focus area in their homes. Children and families are encouraged to compose a prayer for inclusion in the class Prayer Book. This initiative encourages family engagement to enhance Catholic faith at home and facilitates the sharing of cultural diversity in our community.
