Transition to Work

The Transition to Work Program (TWP) is a specialised 7-week initiative targeting disengaged Year 10 students. Aimed at identifying those struggling with traditional schooling, TWP offers mentorship, real-world work experiences, and guidance towards realistic career paths. With success indicators like increased attendance and improved academic engagement, participants explore job roles, gain industry insights through guest speakers, and benefit from hands-on training, including the White Card module. Operating primarily in Term 4, students alternate Friday classes with TWP's diverse curriculum, concluding with off-site work experiences. Through TWP, students discover the tangible benefits of education, setting the foundation for future aspirations.
