Welcome to Tomorrow: Building Bridges to Secondary School

Kearnan College’s Welcome to Tomorrow program supports incoming Year 7 students through a three-day transition experience spread across three terms. Centred on College, Community, and Connection, the program begins with an introduction to College life—exploring facilities, routines, and engaging lessons. Day two builds unity through team-building, peer mentoring, and cohort bonding. Day three strengthens relationships with staff and older students through interactive workshops and leadership opportunities. This immersive journey eases anxiety, builds confidence, and nurtures belonging, ensuring students feel supported and excited as they begin their secondary school adventure.
