Year 7 Bosco Elective

St John Bosco College’s ‘Bosco Elective’ connects new students to the spirit and story of St John Bosco from their first year at the College. With students arriving from 37 feeder primaries, the course offers an interactive, student-led approach to learning Bosco’s life and legacy. Lessons blend creativity, reflection, and hands-on experiences such as role-playing, juggling in Bosco’s honour, researching Salesian schools, and exploring the College’s history. Students also learn about their House Patron, building early House spirit and living Gospel values. This immersive program ensures Bosco’s vision is not just taught but lived, fostering belonging and identity for every student.
